Ronald L. Pierce, age 67, of Sullivan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at his residence. He was born in Princeton, Indiana on October 24, 1952, the son of Luther "Bud" & Mary (Wilkison) Pierce.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce, serving during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with nature, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his two sons, Larry Pierce and Jerry (Stephanie Holcomb) Pierce, both of Worthington, a daughter, Kari Pierce, grandchildren, Wyatt & Mackenzie Pierce, Stephanie Studer, Mikala Pierce, Kaitlyn Holcomb, Chloe Pierce, Brittany Helderman, Cassandra Stephens, and Kendall Stephens, great-grandchildren, Bryson, Julianna, Delylah, Dominick, Adalynn, Brynleigh, Maxston, and Jackson, four brothers, Richard Pierce, Terry Pierce, Dennis Pierce, James Schatz, two sisters, Debbie Pierce and Vickie Stover, and dear friends, Ellen Wright, Russell (Tina) Baugh, Connie Pipkins, and Fred Schepler.

Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home & Crematory in Worthington on Monday, Sept. 14, 2020, from 10 A.M. until the time of memorial service at 11 A.M. where the Worthington American Legion and VFW will conduct military honors.
