Roger L. Roark, 62, of Edwardsport, Indiana, passed peacefully from this life, with family by his side, on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Vincennes, Indiana. He was born on August 21, 1962 in Vincennes to Leonard Morris and Ruth (Stremming) Roark.

Roger was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ. He worked at S&W and Smithville Telephone companies, retiring from there after several years of service. Roger then went to work at Greene County General Hospital in Linton, making many friends during his time there. Roger enjoyed going fishing in Minnesota and watching Westerns.

Family left to cherish the memory of Roger include: two brothers, Eugene (Karla) Roark of Edwardsport and Tim (Debbie) Roark of Sandborn; nieces and nephews, Michael Roark, Damond Roark, Jason Roark, Amber Hart and Christopher Roark; several great nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Dennis and Darrell Roark.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Salem United Church of Christ in Westphalia with Pastor Rhonda Haynes officiating. Roger will be laid to rest in Salem Cemetery in Westphalia.

Family and friends may call from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, November 15 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM on Saturday at the church.
