Roger Damron, age 57, of Linton, passed away peacefully at Regional Hospital on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 with his family by his side. He was born on January 25, 1967, the son of Arthur & Micky Damron of Wayne, WV and Ann & Charles (Smith) Thomas of Linton.

He was a 1985 graduate of L&M High School in Lyons. He worked at Keller Aluminum Factory for several years. He also worked in the housekeeping department for the Linton Nursing Home.

Roger is survived by sisters, Brenda (Todd) Bennett of Linton, Pam (Ron) Trent of Whiting; brothers, Glen (Darla) Damron of Linton, Tim (Renee) Damron of Howesville, Jeff Damron of Linton and Bill Thomas of Linton, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and extended family.

Arrangements are in care of Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.

Private services will be observed by the family.
