Robert Stanley Fiscus, age 96, of Spencer, passed away peacefully at 5:10 A.M. on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at Aperion Care of Spencer. He was born in Arney, Indiana on May 14, 1922, the son of Benjamin H. Fiscus & Lula B. (Franklin) Fiscus.

Robert was a graduate of Worthington-Jefferson High School Class of 1942. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving in Corpus Christi, Texas until 1945. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and American Legion, both of Spencer.

He is survived by his step-daughter, Paulette Medaris of Florida, sister-in-Law, Maude Fiscus, several nieces and nephews, step-children, and step great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wives, Dorothy (Sparks) Fiscus and Mary Kathryn (Hooker) Bryan-Fiscus, brothers, Charles Fiscus, Carl Fiscus, Clyde Fiscus, Wyatt Fiscus,  sisters, Ida Mae Williams, Alta Lee Fiscus, and Blanche McBride.

Funeral service will be held at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer at 12 noon on Friday, December 7, 2018, with Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11 A.M. until the time of service.
