Robert Lee Scott 76, of Lyons, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. Born August 25, 1943 in Linton, he was the son of Floyd Alvin and Edith Virginia (Targett) Scott.

He retired from General Electric in Linton after 25 years of services and also worked at NWSC Crane for the Army. He was an Army veteran and belonged to the American Legion Post #22 in Linton.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Ruth Ellen (Taylor) Scott of Lyons; three step children, Pamela Wampler (Ron) of Bloomington, Dan Evans of Lyons and Delmar Evans Jr. (Janine) of Terre Haute; one brother, Ray Scott (Sharon) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Haseman, several aunts and uncles, his grandparents and his parents.

Private Graveside services will be conducted at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in rural Lyons. Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons is in charge of arrangements.
