Robert F. Myers, 94, of Bloomfield, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. Born April 1, 1928 in Doans, Indiana, he was the son of Ralph and Martha Jane “Matte” (Kidd) Myers.

Robert was a farmer and worked as a railroad conductor at NSWC Crane. He served his country in the United States Army.

Surviving is his daughter, Kathy Ann Myers of Bloomfield; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janis E. Myers on September 3, 2005, seven sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery in rural Lyons.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 1 hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
