Robert Dale King, Jr. 33, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.

Robert’s love of his family and friends will keep us strong through this unfortunate time. Robert was a very loving, caring, beautiful soul. He was always smiling, laughing and joking around. He made light in every room he walked in with his beautiful eyes and smile. He loved fishing, the outdoors, playing basketball, music, and spending time with his family and friends. He’ll be deeply missed by many.

Robert is survived by his grandparents, Ruby and George Powell; his father and stepmother, Robert “Bob” and Sharon King; sister, Shannon Sullivan; niece and nephew, Madison Page and Jameson Sullivan; brother, Shawn Sullivan; his three children, Robert Dale King III, Hazelee Shyann Brown and Chloe Crawford; one aunt, five uncles and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary E. Sullivan, his maternal grandmother, Mary F. Sullivan, his uncle, Richard Fields, an aunt, Brenda Smith, one cousin, Michael Sullivan and his paternal grandfather, Luther King.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2020 at Prairie Chapel cemetery in rural Lyons. Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons is in charge of arrangements.
