Ricky L. Bowman, age 57, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 11:43 PM on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Linton on May 28, 1964, the son of Jerry Sanford & Wilma (Goodman) Bowman.

Ricky worked most of his life as a truck driver, currently working at Dar Pro Solutions in Newberry. He formerly owned and operated Bowman Brothers Drywall, and did subcontract work in construction.

He enjoyed playing pool, hunting, golf, and most importantly, spending time with his family. He was a life-long member and served as the pastor of White Rose Pentecostal Church.

Ricky is survived by his wife of 29 years, Robin (Morris) Bowman, his daughter, Selena (Dane) Kanen of Linton, his son, Jaden Bowman of Linton, a sister, Tina (John) Cox of Dugger, his brother, David (Stephanie) Bowman of Greenwood, mother-in-law, Betty Mays of Linton, and a sister-in-law, Amy Morris of Greenwood.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Sanford Bowman, his mother, Wilma Cavanaugh, and a brother-in-law, John Cox.

Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 5, 2022, with Pastor Gregg Orman. Burial will be held at Case Cemetery in Hymera.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 AM until the time of service.
