Richard "Ricky" Earl House
/Richard "Ricky" Earl House, age 31, of Linton, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019. He was born in Linton on November 15, 1987, the son of Jefferson Earl & Tena (Hudson) House.
Ricky was a 2007 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School. He worked as a mechanic and operator Blann and Sons in Sullivan. He was a union operator with local #841 International Union Operating Engineers of Terre Haute.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, winning the Boone and Crocket award for deer hunting. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and driving derby cars.
He is survived by his parents of Linton, wife, Tonya (Secrest) House of Sullivan, his daughter, Dixie House, his sisters, Wendy Bailey of Linton, Ashley Bean of Bloomfield, and Elizabeth House of Sullivan, his half-brother, Michael Shawn Raney of South Carolina, his maternal grandfather, Ralston "Rock" Hudson, nieces, Mackenzie, Paris, Tayloranne, Savannah, Graci, and Sophie, and his nephews, Tyler, Trenton, Evan, and Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Brandon Joseph House.
Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 11:00 am on Monday, July 15, 2019. Burial will follow at Dugger Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-5 pm, and Monday from 10 am until the time of service.
Memorial contributions may be made for the benefit of his daughter, Dixie, through the funeral home.
