Reba Faye Welch, 80, of Linton, Indiana went to be with her heavenly Father on January 16, 2022, with family by her side. She was born on May 9, 1941, the daughter of Irvin Carpenter and Cayula (Stark) Carpenter.

Reba loved being with her family. She enjoyed teaching her grandchildren how to cook. Reba was a caregiver most of her life. She was a devoted member of the Holiness Church in Linton.

She is survived by her children; Charles T. Welch (Shanna Hogg) of Oaktown, Rebecca S. (Tom) McCoy of Illinois, Carol Ann (Troy) Martindale of Hymera, grandchildren; Brad, Ashlie, Chasity, Angela, Cyndy, Kassie, Branden, 12 great-grandchildren, brother; Loren “Pete” Thomas Carpenter, sister; Adah Glenn, and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband; Charles A. Welch, brothers; Ron Carpenter, Paul Carpenter, Irvin Thomas Jr. Carpenter, sister; Mary Ellen Bruner, and great-grandchild; Lillian Annabelle Davis.

With covid levels rising, private visitation and services will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
