RALPH EUEL MULLENS, 87, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 3:24 P.M. Saturday, September 30, 2023 in Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.

He was born July 5, 1936 in Vigo County, IN to Roscoe Euel Mullens and Mary (Lucas) Mullens.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Carolyn R. (Snellenberger) Mullens of Jasonville, IN, whom he married on April 6, 1957; children, Pam Miller (Steve) of Jasonville, IN, Mark Mullens (Tony) of Robinson, IL; grandchildren, Ashley Hedden (David), Jamie Readinger (Wes); great-grandchildren, Audrey Hedden, Bryce Hedden, Henleigh Readinger, Brody Readinger; sister, Clara Treadway; brother and sisters in-law; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Roy Lee Mullens; sister, Phyllis Price.  

Ralph graduated Blackhawk High School Class of 1955. He was a veteran of the Indiana Air National Guard. He worked at Pfizer Inc. as an operator and later as a maintenance foreman and personel foreman and retired after 34 years of service. Ralph enjoyed traveling with his family, wood working, playing golf and being a basketball referee. He also worked on the ambulance and as a firefighter and rescue, Ralph liked hunting with bird dogs, served as trustee and  deacon at Friendly Grove Baptist Church.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Private family visitation is Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Friendly Grove Baptist Church. Funeral Services are 1 P.M. Wednesday with his son in-law Steve Miller officiating, the doors will be open at 12:45, all are welcome

Interment will be at Friendly Grove Cemetery in Lewis, IN.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made  in memory of Ralph to Friendly Grove Baptist Church 10520 South County Road 550 West, Lewis, IN  47858. Envelopes will be available at the church.
