Phyllis Virginia (Sullivan) Workman, 87, of Lyons, left this earth to be with her Lord and sing among the angels on Sunday, August 22, 2021. She was born March 2, 1934 in Monroe County, the daughter of Elza Lee and Clara Alice (Conner) Sullivan.

She was a very loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother who loved with all her heart.

She was the owner of Eastside Bouquet Flower Shop in Worthington and later worked for Flowers by Patty in Bloomfield.

Surviving relatives include: one daughter, Cynthia Byarley of Lyons; one son, Jack Bays of Worthington; her stepchildren, Harold Workman, Eva Milligan, Cindy Nash and David Workman; several grandchildren and several great, grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Workman on June 20, 2021, one daughter, Kathryn Ann, one son, Ricky Gene, a stepson, Gary Workman, one brother, Vernon Sullivan, her sisters, Dorothy Groomer, Agnes Byers, Iva Jean Groomer, Lois Sullivan and Frances Sullivan, her ½ brothers, Richard Sullivan and Lee Sullivan and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons. Interment will follow in Worthington Cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
