Phyllis J. Moehlmann, age 70, of Linton, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 16, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Linton, IN on April 4, 1952, the daughter of Bobby Lee, Sr. & Barbara June (Ball) Earle.

She was a 1970 graduate of Linton Stockton High School. She retired from Linton Stockton Elementary School after working for over 20 years as a teaching assistant. She was a member of Saron United Church of Christ. She loved spending time around her pool, tending to her flowers, going on her annual beach vacations, but she especially loved spending time with her beloved dogs.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, David Moehlmann of Linton; daughter, Jessica Moehlmann of Terre Haute; nieces, Jennifer LeDune of Dugger, Kathy Ellis of Dugger and Leslie Turnell of Fortville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Wayne Moehlmann and brother, Bobby Lee Earle, Jr.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 with Pastor Jeff Fulk officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 pm, and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to either American Cancer Society or Greene County Humane Society through the funeral home.
