Phyllis J. House, age 90, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 1:10 P.M. on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Glenburn Home in Linton. She was born in Linton on October 15, 1929, the daughter of Earl & Neva (Frye) Gabbard.

Phyllis was a graduate of Linton-Stockton High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Linton.

Phyllis enjoyed traveling but most of all, she loved spending time with all of her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her two daughters, Vicki (Kevin) Bitz and Tami (Tony) Jerrell, both of Linton, grandchildren, Scott (Meghan) McKisson, Brittney (Justin) Vest, Sean (Lindsay) Bitz, Brandon (Haylee) Jerrell, and Brady Jerrell, eight great-grandchildren, Drake, 
Claire, Devin, Brynley, Carson, Hallie, Hunter, and Tinslee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard O. House, her daughter, Linda Kay House, and a grandson, Todd Glen Poe. 

Private family visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.

Private Graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 18, 2020, with Rev. John Winders officiating.
