Paul E. Weathers, age 64, of Linton, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 16, 2022, at his residence. He was born in Linton on June 30, 1958, the son of Vertis & Wilma (Graves) Weathers.

Paul was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked in Maintenance for many years, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his five children, Kory Houston, Becki (Brian) Welty, Danielle (Dustin) Banning, Paul Lee (Amber) Weathers, and Madison Cliver; seven grandchildren, Cooper, Conner, Aubrey, Devin, Hannah, Amari, and Parker; two sisters, Reva (Wayne) Sullivan and Linda (Sam) Hansens; and two brothers, Steve (Elizabeth) Weathers and David Weathers.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M., with military honors by the American Legion Post #22 of Linton at 5:00 P.M.

Burial will be held at Slinkard Cemetery in Newberry at a later date.
