Patricia "Patty" Annetta Squires, age 72, of Lyons, formally of Linton, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021,  Freelandville Community Home. She was born in Linton, IN on June 28, 1948, the daughter of  Winfred & Helen Hanson.

She married Gregory Squires on April 26, 1969.

She is survived by her son Gregory L. (Gale) Squires; sister, Loretta Weaver; sister-in-law, Christina Girton; nieces Tammy and Lisa; nephews, Terry and Daryl; grandchildren, Ashlynn (Cody Swinefurth) Squires, Catherine Kendall, Erik Roberson, Joseph (Payton Borders) Champion and Jeffrey Arthur; great grandchildren, Landon, Bryson, Oliver, Isabella, Bryar, Alexandra, Makaitlyn, Hazel and a great grandson on the way.

Patty is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gregory Squires; brothers, Bill and Joe Hanson; sisters, Karen and Laura; great grandson, Ethan and great granddaughter, Payton Lea.

Private graveside service will be observed by the family at Fairview Cemetery where Gerald Devour and Davey Dyer will officiate.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
