Olive Lorene Marling, 96, of Bloomfield, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Hearthstone Health Campus in Bloomington. Born December 26, 1924 in Solsberry, she was the daughter of Lewis and Elnora (Parker) Bailey.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the Highland Village Church of Christ.

Surviving relatives include: her children, Lori Brooks of Bloomfield and Glen Marling of Solsberry; one brother, Frank Delbert Bailey of Bloomington; four grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Marling on February 13, 2016, one sister, Lucille Rowe one brother, Gary Farvell Hendricks and her parents.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Greene County Chapel cemetery in rural Solsberry, with Rev. Justin Johnston officiating.

Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
