Nyla Rose Bucher, 88, of Bloomfield, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Cobblestone Crossing Health Campus in Terre Haute. Born October 30, 1931 in Linton, she was the daughter of John and Rosemmary (Mullis) Bucher.

Nyla retired from Crane as a NAD Clerk and also worked as a dental office manager. She was a member of the Antioch Christian Church in Bloomfield.

Surviving relatives include: one daughter, Scarlet Phillips (Torre); four grandsons, Eric Albertson, Owen Lillywhite (Malissa), Zach Mellor (Lilianna) and David Phillips; and nine great - grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant sister.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, With Rev. Arlen Pope and Rev. Jack Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday and 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Antioch Christian Church or the charity of the donor’s choice.
