Norma Jean Nolting, age 84, of Linton, Indiana passed away peacefully on January 3, 2023. She was born on October 11, 1938, the daughter of Owen Dailey and Nellie (Kates) Dailey.

Norma was a homemaker and wonderful mother all her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and working in her yard.

She is survived by her children; Teresa (Bill) Nolting Cooksey of Linton, Greg Nolting of Linton, Ron Nolting of Linton, Darla Nolting of Linton, Lorrie Nolting of Linton, Jennifer Nolting of Linton, Doug (Angie Sparks Nolting) Nolting of Coalmont, Cliff Nolting, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, siblings; Lucille Jacobs of Indianapolis, and Linda Haseman of Linton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Ernest Nolting, siblings; Ralph Dailey, Alfred Dailey, Ken Dailey, and Leta Allen.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home on Saturday, January 7, 2023. Burial will follow at Bohley Cemetery in Linton.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
