Nancy Okalene (Royal) Burch Haddock
/Nancy Okalene (Royal) Burch Haddock, 79, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 19, 2002. She was born June 16, 1941 to Elsie and Dennis Royal.
She was the proud wife of Luther Haddock and mother of three sons, four stepdaughters, and one stepson. She is survived by her brother: Ace Royal (Ronda), children: Joseph Burch, Lester Burch (Vicki), Wanda Haddock Johnson (Dick), Diann Haddock Gambill (Randy), Elaine Haddock Robertson, and Geneva Haddock Perry (Daniel). She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Elsie Royal, husband, Luther Haddock, son, Asa Burch, and stepson, Landon Haddock.
Nancy enjoyed children most of all and was blessed with 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Nancy was a life-long member of the LDS church, loved genealogy, and worked within the church in genealogy for as long as she could. Nancy was an avid crafter and has passed many quilts down to family over the years.
Nancy was homebound for many years and was cared for by Asa until he passed away. At that time, Joe took care of her until her passing. Visitors were always a highlight of her day. She will be missed by many friends and family.
Friends may call from 12 p.m. on Wednesday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bishop Chad Waggoner and Joe Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
