Nan (Williams) Parker Cardinal
Nan (Williams) Parker Cardinal, age 83, of Ft. Myers, FL, passed away July 23, 2019. She was born on September 4, 1935, the daughter of Norman & Dorothy (Cheveron) Williams.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Lisa Dayhoff) Parker of Worthington and Gary (Missy) Parker of Ft. Myers, FL; step-daughters, Sherri (Robin) Caballers of Bruceville, Tammy (Jim) Wessel of Jasper and Tracy Haase of Jasper; half brothers, Tony Williams and Richard Williams; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Nan is preceded in death by her parents; son, Brian Parker; grandson, Josh Parker; brother, Jack Williams and his wife Nancy; step-daughter and son-in-law Sandy and Jim Ellingsworth and her husbands, Marvin Parker and Con Cardinal.
She was one of the first eight ladies hired at Van-Tech Later to become Boston Scientific. After moving to Vincennes she managed St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Store through a major expansion of their facilities.
There will be two services. The first memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Goodwin Family Funeral Home in Vincennes with a memorial visitation from 10-11 am. Pastor John Trotter will officiate the service in Vincennes. The second service will be a graveside held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Worthington Cemetery in Worthington with Pastor John Winders officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington and Goodwin Family Funeral Home in Vincennes.
