Mindy Sue Brown
Mindy Sue Brown, age 49, of Bloomfield, passed away peacefully at 4:20 am on Monday, July 8, 2024, at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital after a long courageous battle of Pulmonary Fibrosis. She faced her battle head on and with such grace. She kept her spirits high and never gave up hope. She was born in Sullivan, IN on February 11, 1975, the daughter of John "Rick" Richard Page & Jille (Engle) Nance.
She was a 1993 graduate of Linton Stockton High School; a 2019 graduate of Ivy Tech Community College and a 2021 graduate of Indiana University where she worked so hard and achieved Magna Cum Laude and was a Founders Scholar. She worked for over 25 years at McDonalds in Linton where she was proud to be the general manager. After getting her bachelor's degree at IU she became a care manager at Hamilton Center in Owen County because of her big and loving heart of wanting to help people.
She enjoyed traveling; her dogs; taking care of others; music and going to concerts but she especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She was always in the stands or watching from her phone when she wasn''t able to be in person cheering on her niece and nephew at their games, being the proud aunt she was.
Mindy is survived by her loving husband, Jason Brown of Bloomfield; mother, Jille Nance; father, Rick (Teri) Page; sons, Cail (Caitlin) Brown, Alex Brown and Gabe Brown; granddaughter, Caroline Brown; niece, Harper Page; nephew, Noah Page; brothers Eric (Nikki) Page and John Yoder; sister, Wendy (Matt) Schick; aunt, Sue (Jack) Reed; uncles, Mike (Lou) Engle and Jeff (Tammy) Page; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alan (Janet) Brown; several cousins; long time best friend, Amy Wadhwan and beloved great dane, Pandora.
