Michael Wayne Roach

Michael Wayne Roach, 53, of Bloomfield passed away Saturday October 27, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Born January 30, 1965 the son of Ralph W. and Joetta (Reed) Roach.

Michael had worked at the Wabash Correctional Facility where he was a Sargent, he was a drywall finisher, he was a great cook working for the Light House restaurant, he currently worked at Purdue farms Washington, he was a member of the Faith Christian Church in Bloomfield and was a 1983 graduate of Switz City High School, he married Karen White on July 13, 1996.

Surviving relatives include Karen and daughter Kelsi Roach, his parents, Ralph and Joetta Roach, four sisters, Lisa (James) Alvarado, Lana (James) Ponsonby, Lori Mangino, Lynda Alumbaugh, seven nieces and thirteen nephews and several great nieces and great nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Leslie and Bertha Roach, his maternal grandparents William and Ruth Reed, a nephew Ronnie J. D’Poffo, brother-in-laws, Randy Joe White and David Wayne Pickett and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 P.M. on Monday at the Faith Christian Church in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the Faith Christian Church in Bloomfield with Rev. Arlen Pope, Pastor Darren McDonald, Rick Blanton, Rev. Ralph Roach and Rev. Jack Tolbert officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Michael’s request was to make donations to Kelsi Roach for her education.
