Michael "Mike" Smith, age 59, of Linton, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Greene County General Hospital. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 14, 1964, the son of Daniel, Sr. & Rita Ann (Daluga) Smith.

He worked as an independent contractor for several years. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Linton and enjoyed woodworking, car audio and was an artist.

Mike is survived by his mother, Rita Ann Smith of Linton; sons, Kyle (Makaley) Smith of Linton and Brian Barrow of Florida; granddaughter, Juliana Rose Smith and uncles, Daniel Daluga and Dr. Paul (Denise) Daluga.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Smith, Sr.; brother, Daniel delige and maternal grandparents, Dr. Paul and Betty Daluga.

Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church in Linton at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 with Father Simon Natha officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Memorial visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of service with the rosary at 9:30 am.

Memorial contributions may be made to Regional Hospital Cancer Care Foundation through the funeral home.
