Michael D. Tibbett

Michael D. Tibbett, 51, of Bloomfield passed away peacefully on Thursday November 6, 2025 at Bloomington Hospice House.

Born April 12, 1974 in Crawfordsville, Indiana the son of Dean and Sharon Tibbett.

Mike owned Tibbett Roofing over 30 years, he loved and cherished his family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother. Mike never met a stranger, he loved to talk, being outside, working on his cars, cooking for everyone and hosting parties. The family has requested everyone dress casually and wear your Tibbett shirt.

Mike is survived by his wife Jessica of Bloomfield, daughter, Rachelle (Taylor) Rogers of Pendleton, son, Owen Tibbett of Seymour, step-sons, Austin (Addalynn) Hall, Aidin Hall, step-daughter, Alivia Hall all of Bloomfield, three granddaughters, Parker, Addy and Easton Rogers, one step-grandson, Knox Hall, one brother, Shannon Tibbett, his father Dean Tibbett, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother Sharon Tibbett.

Visitation will be held on Sunday November 9, 2025 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Tulip Church of God, and 12 Noon until the hour of service on Monday at the Church.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday at the Tulip Church of God with Mike Toon officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.

The family ask that any memorial donations in Mike’s name be given to the IU Health Hospice House (2810 S. Deborah Drive, Bloomington, IN., 47403)
