Marvin “Mousie” Ducharme
/Marvin “Mousie” Ducharme 85, of Solsberry, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025 at IU Health Bloomington Hospice House. Born June 19, 1940, he was the son of Dale and Grace (Chestnut) Ducharme.
Marvin Worked for Allison Transmission in Indianapolis. He served his country in the United States Air Force in the Korean War. He was a member of the Monroe Masonic Lodge #22, Bloomington American Legion Post # 18 and the AMVETS.
Surviving relatives include: his children, Lori Jones and Shelli (David) Grissom; grandchildren, Haley (Shane) Keller, Hannah Jones, Jeremy (Renee) Jones; great grandchildren, Kayla (Jaren) Jones, Kylee (Austin) Robison, Corey (Misha) Hall and Codey (Sarah) Hall, Kynlee Keller, Wesley Keller, Adley Keller, Kambry Robison, Kate Jackson, Avery Hall, Emma Hall and Owen Hall; two brothers, Frank Ducharme and Ronnie (Ann) Ducharme; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends and Euchre partners.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Evelyn Ducharme in 2018, one grandson, Scott Jones, Jr., sister-in-law, Lisa Ducharme, sister, Cheryl Gillette, brother, Rick Ducharme; an infant daughter and his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Stewart Cobine officiating. Interment will follow in Solsberry Cemetery.
Public visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the American Legion post #18 in Bloomington.
