Martha (Knepp) Wagler

Martha (Knepp) Wagler, 91, of Odon, Indiana, passed away, on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Jasper Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 16, 1932 in Montgomery, Indiana to Jacob and Leah (Wittmer) Knepp. Martha married Willard Wagler, Sr., on November 24, 1951.

Martha loved the Lord and was a member of the Mt. Olive Mennonite Church. She was a very caring person, always concerned about her family and many friends. She had a special way of reaching out to people. Martha loved gardening and always had such pretty flowers. She spent many hours quilting with very detailed stitching. Her family will always remember the meals she cooked and especially her delicious pies.

Martha is survived by her children, Dale (Rose) Wagler, Karen Sue (Ray) Lengacher, Gary (Diane) Wagler, Darrel (Lynn) Wagler, Willard, Jr. (Annetta) Wagler, Ellen (Mark) Graber, Mary (Raymond) Marner, Travis (Renee) Wagler, and son-in-law, Darrel (Naomi) Stoll; thirty-eight grandchildren; one hundred three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willard Wagler, Sr.; daughter, Naomi Stoll; son-in-law, Mark Graber; granddaughter, Beth Ann Lengacher; great-granddaughter, Grace Willow Graber; grandson-in-law, Mark Tristen Stoll; great-grandson, Breyden Pershing; step-mother, Lizzie Ann Knepp; brothers and sisters, Amos (Elizabeth) Knepp, David (Rachel) Knepp, Katie (Fred) Miller, Alvin (Mary) Knepp, Albert (Lydia) Knepp, Harvey (Lydia) Knepp, Anna (Jacob) Graber, Enos (Susanna) Knepp and Rosa Knepp.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Mt. Olive Mennonite Church with David Wittmer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 25, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the church.
