Marsha Lyn (Whitsett) Wade
/Marsha Lyn (Whitsett) Wade, 63, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 3:43 A.M. Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She was born September 14, 1958 in Bloomington, IL to Scott Arthur Whitsett and Thelma Sue (Faull) Whitsett.
Survivors include her husband, R. Kenny “Ken” Wade of Jasonville, IN whom she married on June 22, 1996; children, Amy Jo Fulford(Jason) of Jasonville, IN, Jamie Sue Donnely of Vincennes, IN, Kenneth James Wade of Jasonville, IN, Johnathon Wade of Galena, IL, Rayne Nevaeh Wade of Jasonville, IN: grandchildren,William Scott Jeffries, Taylor Jean Neff, Layne Donnely: siblings, Sandy Hatfield (David) of Brighton, MI, Kevin Whitsett ( Cindy) of Georgetown, OH, Mark Whitsett of Fridley, MN: nieces and nephews,Kezia Hatfield, Josiah Hatfield, Kenan Hatfield, Kelley Birchfield(Kraig), Korey Whitsett (Mandy), Matthew Whitsett (Ashley).
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Marsha graduated from Normal Community High School, Normal, Illinois, Class of 1974 . She graduated Lincoln Christian College Mayof 1982 with a B.A. Degree in secretarial ministry. Marsha loved to travel, enjoyed arts and crafts, loved decorating the house for the seasons, especially Christmas. She worked many years as a professional secretary for Caterpillar Corporate Health, H&R Block Tax Co., Order of Saint Frances Hospital, Fort Transfer as Safety and Regulatory Training for the drivers, Ivy Tech in Accounts Receivable, Walmart, as legal secretary for Atty. Marvin Abashire in Linton. Marsh worked as a Missionary smuggeling Bibles into Germany before the Berlin wall came down. She and her family were and are very involved in Ministry and Missionary work for the Lord. She was a member of Lawton Street Christian Church in Jasonville.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. Monday, October 18, 2021 at the Funeral Home, services are immediately following at 2 P.M. with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.
Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
