Mark Robert Garner, age 61, of Worthington, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021, at his residence. He was born in Muncie, IN on November 13, 1959, the son of James Robert & Bernice (Whitman) Garner.

He worked many jobs throughout his life but he mainly worked maintenance in telecommunications. He was a member of the American Legion Post 106.

He is survived by sons, Robert Garner of Worthington and Josh Garner of Martinsville; several grandchildren and sister Cindy (Dave) Esham.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private services will be observed by the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home and Crematory in Worthington.
