Mark F. Schnabel, age 75, of Linton, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Greene County General Hospital. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN on August 16, 1947, the son of Dr. Robert V. Schnabel & Ellen (Foelber) Schnabel.

He was a business owner for many years. He was a professional musician, singer and writer and loved spending time with his wife and animals. He enjoyed traveling across the United States in their motor home and he also enjoyed traveling internationally with Diane. He was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he was a Rostered Minister.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of almost 40 years, Diane (Mullin) Schnabel of Linton; two children; brother, Philip Schnabel of Wyoming; aunt, Joy Andrews of Boston, MA; uncle, Dr. Herbert Foelbver and wife of San Diego, CA; two brothers-in-law, Wayne Mullin of Lafayette, IN and Keith Mullin of Lexington, KY; two nieces; three nephews; many cousins; as well as beloved cats, Snickers and Evinrude.

He was preceded in death by his parents; cats, Nellie, Peabody and Amostagus as well as his dog, Sampson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
