Marjorie McIntyre, age 92, of Bloomfield, passed away peacefully at 8:49 am on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. She was born in Bloomfield, IN on July 6, 1931, the daughter of Dexter & Blanche (Bender) Heaton.

She was a member of Bloomfield Methodist Church and Furnace Extension Homemakers Club. She enjoyed traveling with her husband on their motorcycle, baking and needlework but what she loved most of all was visiting with her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter.

Marjorie is survived by her loving children, Connie McIntyre of Bloomfield and Brad (Amy) McIntyre of Sellersburg; grandchildren, Audri (Josh Campbell) Jones, Nolan Dwinell, Lana McIntyre and Brett (William Davis) McIntyre; great granddaughter, Emma Jai Campbell; sister, Lois (Rex) Kirchoff and brother, John (Laura) Heaton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ted M. McIntyre and siblings, Audrey Heaton, Donald Heaton and Martha Glover.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Friday, February 2, 2024 with Pastor Rick Pressel officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of service.
