Marion Y. Whittaker, age 61 of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 6:48 A.M. on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Glenburn Home in Linton.  She was born in Beaufort, South Carolina on December 19, 1959, the daughter of Robert Hildebrand and Patricia (Benton) Sinclair. 

Marion attended Worthington and Switz City Schools.  She enjoyed the ministry of Blessed Hope Church, coloring, watching The Walton’s, Little House on the Prairie, tattoos, and Harley’s. 

She is survived by her children, Holly Ley (Seth Waskom) of Switz City, Daniel Ralston (Mary Potts) of Fort Branch, Jay Wardlow (Treva) of Decatur, TN, and Amy Daffron (Jayson Smith) of Terre Haute, fifteen grandchildren, siblings, Richard Williams (Liz) of Worthington, Robin Ford (Nathan) of Switz City, and Edward Hildebrand (April) of Louisiana, several nieces and nephews, and her faithful dog, Peanut. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Tony Hildebrand, and a sister, Patty Williams. 

Private family viewing will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington.
