Marilyn Kay Sparks, 85, of Bloomfield, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Lyons Health & Living Center. Born November 22, 1932 in Linton, she was the daughter of Bernard and Grace (Killinger) Greene.

She was a 1972 graduate of Indiana University and was a teacher at Bloomfield Schools.

Surviving relatives include: three daughters, Jennifer Hamilton (Bill), Mandy McIntosh (Bob) and Cindy Maden all of Bloomfield; one son, J.B. Sparks of Plainfield; nine grandchildren, Janessa Uland, Josh McIntosh (Alysia), Tim Greves (Laura), Angie Kirkmeyer (Tom), Sindy Maden, Levi Carmichael (Amanda), Dane Carmichael (Tiffany), Nick Maden, Kayla Sparks and Cassie Sparks; and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
