Margaret A. Jones, 82, went to be with her heavenly Father on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton, Indiana. She was born in Lyons, Indiana on January 15, 1940, the daughter of Windle Vaughn and Monzelle (Moss) Vaughn.

Margaret became a Christian in 1960, serving her Lord and always caring for others. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she worked with and taught children’s and women’s programs. Her passions were to serve Christ, taking care of her family, tithing/supporting her church and the Jews for Jesus Ministry.

Survivors include her sons, Jack B. Jones, Jr. (Melinda) of Carmel, Barry W. Jones (Cheryl) of Kokomo, Eric L. Jones of Linton; grandchildren, Jack (Sarah) Jones III, Andrew (Sarah) Jones, Alycia (Michael) Hatfield, Ashlyn (Jerry) Boyd, Alex Jones, Delfred Jones, Loren Jones, Erica Jones; great grandchildren, Kaki, Rachel, Andrew Jr., JP, Titus, Nakita; brothers, Max Vaughn, Virgil Vaughn; brothers in law, Jerry Jones and Jeff Jones, and many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Jack B. Jones Sr., sisters; Marilyn Dailey, and Diana Vaughn.

Funeral service will be held at Linton First Baptist Church on Friday, June 3, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend David Tyra.

Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. and Friday, June 3, at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Open Doors, Gideons, Jews for Jesus, Samaritan’s Purse, or Pregnancy Crisis, through the funeral home.
