Marcella McDaniel

Marcella Marie McDaniel 86, of Bloomfield, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. Born May 10, 1933 in Solsberry, she was the daughter of Frank and Rosa Marie (Ray) Davis.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Concord General Baptist Church and the Solsberry Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving relatives include: her children, Terry Paul (Debby) McDaniel of Spencer, Elaine (Lynn) Traylor of Worthington and Jeanie (Leroy) Kirkley of Bloomfield; one brother, Joe Davis of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Michael McDaniel, Scott McDaniel, Melinda Minks, Christopher Minks, Anthony Minks, Angela Slaven, Crystal Hodge and Sierra Kirkley; three step grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul F. McDaniel on August 27, 2010 and one son, Frederick McDaniel.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Terry McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in Calvertville cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday and 1 hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the International Order of the Rainbow Girls.
