Lynda McCammon, age 68, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 12:30 am on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Linton, IN on July 19, 1953, the daughter of Florence (Garlit) Harstine.

Lynda was a graduate of Shakamak High School. She worked in medical billing for home health care for several years. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #1434 and Linton Elks Lodge #866. She loved spending time with her family and was the best Nana. She also had a passion for bowling and would play every day if she could.

She is survived by her loving husband, Clifford “Cliff” McCammon of Linton; mother, Florence Harstine of Linton; daughters, Jennifer Nash of Linton and Shanna (Jason Miller) Woodruff of Linton; son, Brian (Sarah) McCammon of Plainfield; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Myra Garlit, Carrol Martin and brother, Tim Harstine as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Storms.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Friday, February 25, 2022 with Pastor Rick Pressel officiating.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 pm until the time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
