Lucille Allen, age 83, of Worthington, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Bainbridge, OH on April 9, 1939, the daughter of Lawrence & Clara (Cline) Ford.

She was a homemaker and loved raising her children and spoiling her grandchildren. She enjoyed tending to her flowers as well as cooking and baking. She will be deeply missed especially her wonderful cooking.

Lucille is survived by her children, Terressa (Charles) Sparks of Worthington, Tony Allen of Worthington, Randy (Cathie) Allen of Worthington, Linda Coulter of Worthington and Kathy (Greg) Bates of Freedom; grandchildren, Donnie (Penny) Stahl, Jonathan (Kim) Stahl, Andrew Allen, Rochelle (Kyle) Boyd, Levi (Melissa) Allen, Cheryl (Doug Powell) Coulter, Angela Richardson, Keelin Coulter and Kain (Mason Miller) Bates; 15 great grandchildren as well as one sister, Daisy Kinnamon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dwight “Bud” Allen; siblings, Bill Ford, Everett Ford and Katherine Bode.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington on Monday, August 1, 2022 with Pastor Paul McHenry officiating. Burial will follow at Worthington Cemetery in Worthington.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of service.
