Lee Ann (Pointer) Wise, 79, of Coalmont, IN passed away at 11:20 P.M. Sunday, December 11, 2022 in Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton, IN. She was born May 19, 1943 in Linton, IN to Lee Pointer and Audrey (Armpriester) Pointer.

Lee Ann married Joe don Wise on February 24, 1963, he passed away on October 5, 2021.

Survivors include her children, Donya Bengert (Mike) of Haubstadt, IN, Robert Wise (Amy) of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Audrey Regan (Billy), Natalie Peters (Trevor), Seth Wise (Taylor), Rachel Wise; great-grandson, Drew Regan; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; sisters, Karen Fisk, Cheryl Faught.

Lee Ann graduated Coalmont High School Class of 1961 and attended Beauty School to be a hairdresser. She was a member of Shakamak Community Church where she was actively involved. She was a member of O.E.S.. Lee Ann enjoyed sewing, doing crafts, quilting and clothing alterations. She was about doing for others. She was also a busy farm wife and mother. She watched her grandkids when they were growing up and later attended their sporting and musical events. She tried never to miss the choir performances put on at Shakamak. Lee Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 1 P.M. with Pastor Ron Riggs officiating.

Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Lee Ann to Shakamak Community Church Coats for Kids at Shakamak High School and the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
