Larry Lee Hensley, age 52, of Worthington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 16, 2018, at Methodist Hospital. He was born in Linton, IN on May 17, 1966, the son of Larry Gene Hensley & Katherine (Bough) Hensley.

He loved to collect Craftsman tools, fishing poles and model semis. He also loved spending time with his family and friends and going fishing in the best local fishing holes.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, Sara Hensley of Worthington; daughters, Chrystal Hensley of Bloomfield and Natasha (Josh) Samm of Worthington; fur babies, Elly May and Precious; very special granddaughter, Adrianna Jackson of Worthington; sisters, Sherry Surber of Bloomfield and Jana Souders of Worthington; nieces and nephews, Dalton Souders of Worthington, Chassidy Surber of Bloomfield and Kegan Surber of Clay City; many great nieces and nephews as well as three other grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington on Friday, September 21, 2018. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses through the funeral home.
