Larry J. Swaby, 71, of Bloomfield, passed away at his residence on Sunday, November 3, 2019.  Larry was born in Linton, Indiana on October 19, 1948 to Frances Isaac Swaby and Jessie Faye (McDonald) Swaby. 

Larry graduated high school from Switz City High School in 1967 and then proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.  Larry married the love of his life, Darlene A. (Burton) Swaby on May 11, 1968 and together they raised a wonderful, loving family. 

Larry is survived by his wife, children, Larry S. and wife Bobbi Swaby from Paoli, Kelly D. Swaby from Bloomington, Justin A. Swaby from Jasonville, grandchildren, Cameron Swaby, Jalen Swaby, Brianna Swaby, Katie May, Maddie May, Ellie Sims, Taylor Eads, Abigail Butcher, Ivy Butcher, Sarah Butcher, Alan Swaby, Allison Swaby, Deshaya Swaby, Jarett Swaby, Shanna Swaby, Noah Swaby, Connie Farmwald, Amy Farmwald, Douglas Farmwald, Wyatt Farmwald, Avery Farmwald, and great-grandchildren, Myah Garrett, Mason Garrett, brothers, Harold and wife Sharon Swaby, Frances and wife Joann Swaby, Michael Swaby, and several nieces and nephews. 

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gerald Swaby.

Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Faith Christian Church in Bloomfield.  Pastor James Stone will officiate.
