Kristen Elizabeth Laue, 36, of Bloomfield, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. Born November 17, 1983 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Jerry Laue and Janet (Dyer) Skinner.

She was a stay at home mom who was devoted to her son, Jaxson. Her world revolved around him. She was a beautiful young woman who cared deeply about her family and friends. She was quick to help others in need.

She was very artistic and excelled at art journaling and scrapbooking. She loved the outdoors and spent hours with her son collecting rocks, cutting flowers, flying kites and simply driving the country roads looking for nature finds. She found beauty and happiness in it all. She will be forever missed by her son, family and friends.

Surviving relatives include: her parents, Janet and Nick Skinner and Jerry and Rexanne Laue; one son, Jaxson Haywood; her siblings, Jessica Anderson (Danny), Brentt Skinner (Mirna), Nikki Skinner, Cari Hipp, Corey Laue, Brandon Sneath and Autumn Sheese; nephew, Daren Bell; aunt, Susan Dyer (Phil);uncles, Jim Dyer and John Robert Laue, Jr. (Debi); and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents, James R. and Betty Jo Dyer, her Paternal Grandparents, Bob and Betty Laue, several aunts, uncles and one nephew.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Walnut Grove cemetery in rural Bloomfield, with Rev. Scott Chastain officiating. A private family viewing was held on Saturday, March 14, 2020.
