Kenneth Thomas, age 94, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 6:45 pm on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Glenburn Home. He was born in Linton, Indiana on November 25, 1923, the son of the late Ott W Thomas & Goldie (Hayes) Thomas.

He was a graduate of Logan High School in Logan, West Virginia. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corp during WWII. He worked as an inspector in heavy equipment shops at Crane and retired from there in 1985.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Freda J. (Brumfield) Thomas; son, Roger (Young) Thomas of Bloomington; grandchildren, Ian Thomas, Shawna Thomas and Lisa Thomas; brothers, Earl Thomas of Clarington, Ohio and Ott Thomas of Pawhatian Point, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Sensney and brother, Malcolm Thomas.

Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Friday, November 16, 2018, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Dean VanSlyke officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00-7:00 pm and Friday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.
