Kenneth Parker Hill, Sr.

Kenneth Parker Hill, Sr. 87, of Switz City, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at his residence. Born July 28, 1931 in Scotland, Indiana, he was the son of Herschel Parker and Mary (Bruce) Hill.

Kenneth was a Coal Miner and served his country in the Korean War with the United States Army. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Linton and the American Legion and VFW in Worthington.

Surviving relatives include: three daughters, Susan Leigh of Linton, Joanne Swaby of Switz City and Linda Fish of Lyons; one son, Kenny Hill, Jr. of Switz City; one stepson, Wendell Ray Hamilton of Switz City; a brother, Sam Hill of Doans; one sister, Mary Wright of Sullivan; his companion, Beverly Branstetter of Switz City; four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Hill on February 26, 2006; two brothers, Charles and Robert Hill; one sister, Barbara Griffith and his parents.

There will be no public visitation or services. Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
