Judy Kay Doane

Judy Kay Doane, 79, of Bloomfield, passed away Wednesday May 9, 2018, at Greene County General Hospital. Judy was born May 31, 1938, in Alexandria, Indiana, the daughter of David and Zelma (Jennings) Duane.

Judy worked in accounting at the Court House and at Crane, she was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Bloomfield, Delta Theta Tau, she was Treasurer for the Friends of the Library, Mothers Club, Auxiliary Lady at Greene County General Hospital, she had received the Simon Brute Award from the Evansville Diocese.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Roger Doane of Bloomfield, two sons, David Doane of Bloomfield and James Doane of Mountain Home, Idaho; two grandchildren, Kyle Doane and Maggie Doane.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield and Tuesday at the Church from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday May 15, 2018, at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Bloomfield with Father Beju Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
