Joshua "Josh" Tobey, age 42, of Linton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. He was born in Kokomo on October 6, 1978, the son of  Loren Tobey & Ruth Ann (House) Hill.

He was a 1997 graduate of Shakamak High School. He worked at Walmart for 13 years. He loved watching movies and shooting people with his NERF guns. He was also an avid Batman fan.

Josh is survived by his mother, Ruth Ann (Spencer) Hill of Linton, IN; father, Loren (Ayse) Tobey of Farmington Hills, MI; sister, Sara (Chad) Moody of Linton; twin sister, Shannon (Brandon) Duncan of Linton; brothers, Matt Perry of Linton, David (Maria) Hill of Linton and Larry (Patricia) Hill of Linton; paternal grandparents, Glenn D. & Ruth Tobey as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Stella & Jefferson E. House.

A private graveside service at Dugger Cemetery will be observed by his family.

Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 1:00-5:00 pm.
