John H. Liles, Jr., 84, of Solsberry passed away Tuesday December 18, 2018 at his residence. Born August 30, 1934 in Brickeys, Arkansas the son of John H. Sr., and Sophia (Chandler) Liles.

John worked in construction for Wilhelm Construction, and retired from a local stone mill. John was a member of the Highland Faith Assembly of God Church in Bloomington.

Surviving relatives include his wife Cathleen Liles of Solsberry, his children, Karen (Mike) White of Newark, Malissia Sue (Mike) Buchanan of Bloomington, Dale (Lisa) Liles of Solsberry, twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, three sisters, Faye Walls, Clara Mae Hollingsworth and Lena Liles.

John was preceded in death by nine siblings and his parents.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Thursday and 1 P.M. Friday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Richard Deckard officiating. Burial will follow at Solsberry Cemetery.
