John Giles
/THE John Giles, age 37, of Linton, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born in Indianapolis on July 30, 1981, the son of Leonard "Skeet" & Paula (Phillips) Giles.
John attended Shakamak High School. He worked at Great Dane in Brazil. John was an avid lead guitarist, playing in the band Addiction for many years. He enjoyed playing his guitar, remodeling his home, and riding and rebuilding motorcycles with his kids, and watching his kids play sports.
John is survived by his parents of Jasonville, his former wife, Amanda Feuquay of Terre Haute, his twin sons, Landon and Damien Giles of Linton, son, Aiden Giles of Linton, and his daughter, Danica Giles of Linton, his sister, Jessica (Quintin) Keller of Jasonville, his former mother-in-law, Vonda Smith of Linton, nieces, Kyli, Kaitlin, and Cassondra, a nephew, Gavin, his uncle, Russell (Joann) Giles of Bloomington and several other aunts and uncles, former brother-in-law, Tim (Heather) Smith of Linton.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his cousins, and former father-in-law, Jack Smith.
Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 3, 2019, Rev. John Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 3-8 P.M., and Saturday from 9 A.M. until the time of service.
