John Dewey Haldeman, age 75, of Worthington, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at the Hospice House in Bloomington. He was born on October 14, 1947, the son of John M. Haldeman and Beatrice R. (City) Tow.

He served as a Chief Warrant Officer 04 in the Navy earning his highest ranking. After retiring from the Navy, he enjoyed his free time.

Survivors include his son; Dustin Haldeman of California, grandchildren, Riley Haldeman of California, Phillip Haldeman of California, Max Haldeman of California; step-mother, Peggy Haldeman; step-father, Thomas Tow; sister, Julie Haldeman and cousin; Johnny Wilcox of Greene County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Nancy Walker, Susan Fowler, Terry Haldeman and Steven Haldeman and son, John A. Haldeman.

Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 at the funeral home. Military rites will follow.
