JoAnn K. Frye, age 51, of Lyons, joined her mother in heaven at 10:13 P.M. on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. She was born in Linton on December 17, 1970, the daughter of James L. & Virginia R. (Pride) Frye.

JoAnn was a 1989 graduate of L & M High School. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed cross stitch, jigsaw puzzles, coloring, and reading.

She is survived by her father, James L. Frye of Switz City, a sister, Tammy (Mike) Calvert of Lyons, a brother, Jeff (Amber) Frye of Switz City, her nephews, Eric (Stephanie), Anthony, and Jeremiah Calvert, a niece, Morgan Frye, great-nephew, Zachary Calvert and two great-nieces, Elayna and Alexa Calvert.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia R. Frye on October 27, 2021.

Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 10, 2022, with Chris Gehring officiating. Burial will follow in Switz City Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of service.
