JoAnn Callihan, 78, of Linton, Indiana, went to Heaven with family by her side, on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. She was born on August 7, 1947, in Linton to John and Margeret (McDonald) Reeves. JoAnn married the love of her life, Jerry Robert Callihan, on August 23, 1969.

JoAnn was a member of Saron United Church of Christ. She worked in Radiology at Greene County General Hospital, retiring with over 40 years of service. JoAnn loved life and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family left to cherish the memories of JoAnn include; her daughter, Lynn Williams; her son, Brian Callihan, both of Linton; grandchildren, Lindsey (Ryan) Reynolds, Adrian Callihan, Eliza Mae Callihan and Benson Callihan; great-grandchildren, Brayln Perry and Kaden Marsh; great-great-granddaughter, Reeves and sister, Jane Head. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jerry Callihan.

Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Chaplain Jeff Fulk officiating. JoAnn will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton at a later date.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Greene County Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
